Informing a global flexible working strategy

“One of Audiem's greatest strengths lies in its capacity to foster collaboration and facilitate dialogue among stakeholders", adding, "It isn't just a tool – it's a catalyst for positive change.”

Krisztina Foster, Global Workplace Experience Manager

The brief

During the pandemic, the charity committed to ‘WorkAppropriately’, a choice-based solution to hybrid working that enabled different teams to work as needed. However, World Animal Protection also had its legacy offices, some of which are now heavily underutilised and some of which are fast approaching lease breaks.

So, the charity’s HR and Facilities teams needed to gather workplace experience data across their portfolio, alongside taking stock of‘Work Appropriately’, to truly understand how to enable their global teams for the future.

The solution

In 2023 and 2024, World Animal Protection worked with Audiem to design and host two workplace experience surveys. They then complemented this data by importing employee feedback they had previously gathered on another well-known employee engagement platform and revisiting it in Audiem for deeper workplace-related insights.

The result

World Animal Protection’s commitment to data-driven, evidence-based design, in the hands of a passionate workplace team, has given leadership the confidence to commit to a ‘flexible work revolution’ for the charity, strategically foregrounding employee experience over workspace constraints.
