Alongside deeper insights into regional trends, we’ll also share findings from new questions on workplace relationships.

Earlier this year we launched WorkPulse, a new collaboration between Workpattern and Audiem to capture what employees across the UK really think about work and workplaces.
In our first webinar, we shared findings from 1,300 people. This time we’re adding another 1,000 voices, bringing the dataset to 2,300 employees. With each wave, the picture of workplace experience across the UK becomes clearer, richer and more useful.
What's new this time?
Alongside deeper insights into regional trends, we’ll also share findings from new questions on workplace relationships.
Since the pandemic, the role of strong and weak ties has been central to debates about innovation, collaboration and culture — but hard data on how these ties look in practice has been missing. WorkPulse is starting to change that.
In this webinar you'll discover:
Audiem co-founder and Workplace Geeks podcast co-host, Ian Ellison will be joined by Co-Founder of Workpattern who launched the WorkPulse research programme in partnership with Audiem.

Ian Ellison has contributed to the UK workplace sector for 25 years. Following a senior lecturer role at Sheffield Hallam University, he co-founded 3edges Workplace, focusing on workplace education, research and award-winning consultancy.
Most recently he co-founded the AI-powered workplace experience insights platform, Audiem and co-hosts the Workplace Geeks podcast.
Brand Principal & Co-founder, Workpattern
Co-founded Workpattern in 2010 with Albany Contract, driven by a desire to bring higher quality furniture brands and progressive workplace thinking to the North East—a region that, at the time, lacked design-led workspaces. Inspired by my early experience working with Herman Miller and Bene in London, I’ve always believed in the power of design to shape how we work.
Since returning North, I’ve been passionate about sharing that knowledge—hosting seminars, collaborating with leading consultants, and advocating for better spaces that connect people with their environment. My background spans from hands-on business development in the Contract furniture market, growing our teams and network. Additionally, I spent some time in a similar role with an architecture and design practice. It also sparked a personal interest in design, which led to several self-build projects and one rather ambitious, ongoing renovation.
Over the past 15 years, Workpattern has grown into a respected name, delivering award-winning workplaces and launching WorkPulse, our latest venture reflects everything we've learned and continue to pursue.
